I live in MMJ state of Oregon. I recently changed doctors because I changed my insurance and had to choose a different clinic. I switched to Kaiser Permanente in Salem and decided to try my luck at tryin to find a doctor to reccomend MMJ to me because of my Chronic Asthma. I told him I only vaporize and that since I started smoking I can’t remember the last time I had an Asthma attack besides the time I had to quit using due to personal reasons. As soon as I started using again, attacks dissapeared. Almost immediately after bringing up the fact that I use pot for my asthma, he told me that I should stop using MJ because it will have negative effects on my asthma and whoever told me that it helped was VERY WRONG. As soon as i heard his side I dropped it and decided to get to the real reason I was there. I was wondering if because of his negative outlook on pot if I should try and get a new doctor that approved of my useage? That was my first appointment at that clinic and I’m thinking it should be my last. Like everyone else said, you should always trust your doctors and have confidence in them and I’m not sure that I do….help?
