grand meeting!
Half a dozen new ASA members attended our chapter meeting last night, voicing concerns about local government agencies making plans to standardize regulations with a county wide MMJ ordinance.
Many of us are concerned that the LA and San Diego situations have disrupted the entire MMJ movement and, clearly, Humboldt county patients are experiencing repercussions.
They came seeking information - bringing with them a strong desire to do something to make a difference. It’s always astonishing to see fresh motivation in action. We were ALL enthusiastically empowered throughout the evening’s lively discussions, exchanges of opinions and sharing of information – which lasted over 3 hours.
And the delicious refreshments were very much enjoyed = thank you to Martha and Kathy, and everyone who brought goodies.
Next month, on January 21st, we’ll be organizing efforts to contact, meet with, question, and/or educate the officials involved in enforcing our local MMJ regulations. Hope to see you there!
